Dear Faithful of ICC,
This weekend we are having the 40 hours’ devotion to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. This is a devotion of honoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for 40 consecutive hours of adoration and is a very old tradition in the Church. By this devotion we seek to honor Our Lord Who remains with us throughout the year, but also to make reparation for sins committed against this most august sacrament. We also ask our Lord for His graces in preparation for the upcoming season of Lent that our families, parish, and diocese will be blessed. Would you consider signing up to spend an hour or two with our Lord?
The hours of adoration begin this Sunday (Feb 15th) at 2:00 pm (after the last mass) and will conclude Tuesday morning (Feb 17th) with benediction at 6:30 am. Adoration will also be paused for the mass on Monday morning be will resume after. Sign-up sheets are in the vestibules of the Church.
