Fr. James Buckley of the Archdiocese of Omaha passed away on June 10, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He was known by many of the parishioners at ICC as a very fine priest. He is a former pastor of St. Patrick’s and strongly encouraged the Archdiocese at the time to give Immaculate Conception to the Latin Mass Community as a parish. We are deeply indebted to him.
We will hold a Requiem Mass for Fr. Buckley this Saturday Morning, June 15, at 9:00 am with absolution at the catafalque.
Please also remember in your prayers Ellen Schrat. She is in her last hours or days after a long battle with cancer. She was very quiet and discreet but attended daily mass faithfully at the 6:45 am.
