Immaculate Conception Church will have the honor of holding the Mass of Burial of Fr. Terrence Gordon, FSSP, at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Fr. Terrence Gordon served faithfully at Immaculate Conception from 2009 to 2013.
It will be a Solemn Mass of Burial with his two brothers, Fr. James Gordon, FSSP, and Fr. Dennis Gordon, FSSP, along with Fr. John Brancich, FSSP, serving as priest, deacon and subdeacon. Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary will come to sing the Mass but it is foreseen that all of the seminarians and priests will sit in the sanctuary or the choir loft. Fr. Gordon’s brothers asked to have the Mass offered at ICC so that his former parishioners here and from elsewhere would be able to attend. The Burial Mass is open to all the faithful and ushers will make sure that there will be enough room for all who come.
Schedule for May 11:
❖ 1:00 pm viewing and rosary at Immaculate Conception, Omaha, NE
❖ 2:00 pm Requiem Mass of Burial at Immaculate Conception, Omaha, NE
❖ The rite of burial will follow the Mass and will take place at
the Cemetery of Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary, Denton Nebraska.
