First Friday & First Saturday

Friday, October 6, is the First Friday of the month. The 6:00 pm Mass will be solemn, followed by First Friday devotions and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
There will not be catechism classes for children this Friday, since it is the first of the month. The Youth Group will meet in the gymnasium at 7:00 pm as always
October 7, Feast of the Holy Rosary, will be our annual, candlelit Marian procession with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. The Solemn Mass will begin at 6:00 pm. We will maintain the usual 6:45 am and 9:00 am Masses in case some are not aware of the 6:00 pm Mass, but all parishioners, if able, should come to the evening Mass and procession. We will not therefore have First Saturday devotions in the morning or confessions available during the morning Mass. A priest will be available for confessions only during the 6:00 pm Mass.
The Knights of the Altar will meet this Saturday at 10:00 am in the priests’ sacristy (not in the servers’ sacristy as we usually do).
