On Sunday, August 27, after having received the Sacraments of the Church, Joseph Siedlik passed away. Joseph was a long-time parishioner at ICC. He had a debilitating stroke a number of years ago and had been in a nursing home ever since. He bore this cross extremely well and would light up when the priest would arrive for confession and Holy Communion. He was a humbling example of how we should each long for these Sacraments which we can sometimes take for granted.
The Rosary and Funeral Mass for the repose of Joseph Siedlik will take place at ICC at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 5. It will be followed by his burial at Omaha National Cemetery. Please pray for his soul.
