Please pray for the repose of the soul of Marynola Halgard, who was a long time parishioner of ICC and helped with the bookstore for many years. Due to illness and old-age she was unable to attend regularly these past years, but many will remember her. Her sung funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, June at St. Peter’s in Omaha by Fr. Audino at 10:00 am. The burial will take place immediately after at St. John’s and will be followed by a reception back at ICC. All are encouraged to come.
The new members of the Young Ladies’ Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be enrolled at the end of the 9:00 am Mass this Saturday, June. Because of this ceremony we will not have the usual meditation following the 9:00 am First Saturday Mass. We will also not have confessions during the 9:00 am as Fr. Audino will be absent for the funeral.
The weather does not look good for this Sunday. We will only process outside for the external solemnity of Corpus Christi if the weather is fitting for Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. If it is wet and rainy we will only process inside from and back to the main altar, but we will have at least this short procession. We will make the decision the morning of.
