On Thursday, October 26 at 7:00 pm in the church basement we will have an Adult Education class on the encyclical Casti Connubii (On Christian Marriage) by Pius XI. It is an excellent summary of the Church’s teaching on marriage both as a natural institution and as a sacrament.
The Thursdays of the month of November are quite full, so we will not resume with the biblical part of the class on the Sacrifice of the Mass until November 30.
It will be most beneficial to read the encyclical in advance for the class on October 26. It is not long (27 pages), and is not difficult to read. The encyclical can be found on the Vatican website or you can download the pdf here:
