Safe Environment Training
All parish volunteers and those working even informally for the parish should receive Safe Environment Training through the Archdiocese of Omaha: https://archomaha.org/safe-environment/. This includes those who are working with groups for minors (e. g. Knights of the Altar, Youth Group, etc.) and those who make work side by side with a minor (e. g. church cleaners, choir members).
We would like to get a large number of parishioners who will potentially work in these situations certified in Safe Environment. The Archdiocese has offered a convenient time for us to do this at ICC, on Saturday, May 20 at 9:00 am.
